On Oct 17 we went to Chartres to see the Norte Dame de Chartres Cathedral, a UNESCO world heritage site.  During the second World War all of the stained glass windows from this cathedral were removed within 15 days and stored until the end of the war for preservation. Renovations are on going.  Dramatic Cathedral.

 

 

Very picturesque town.
